H.O.P.E Training & Consultancy have been delivering training around Anti- Racism Practice (ARP) and has been supporting the Violence Against Women & Girls (VAWG) sector to take a hard look at their own practices and how we can do more as a sector to promote and speak out about Racism within VAWG.
During the past few years Meena (Founder of H.O.P.E) has spoken at key events, conducted webinars, supported academics with research, advised and guided CEOS, Trustees and middle management and been a listening ear to staff who have experienced Racism, Prejudice and Discrimination within the VAWG sector.
Meena has continued to speak out not just during Black History Month (October) or South Asian Hertiage Month (August) but throughout the year as we all know these levels of Racism do exist and as a sector we need to come together and speak up.
If you would like to know more about our Anti Racism Practice work or Training, please contact Meena on firstname.lastname@example.org. Meena works closely with Natasha Broom-Field Reid (Diverse Matters), Sandra Pollock (Open Mind Coaching) and Imran Manzoor (Pegasus Training) in addressing these issues nationally and locally.
