Safe Spaces Wheel for Black and Racialised Leaders by Dr Olumide Adisa and Meena Kumari
Discover the groundbreaking “Safe Spaces Wheel for Black and Racialised Leaders,” a transformative practice framework designed and developed by Dr. Olumide Adisa and Meena Kumari.
This innovative tool is deeply rooted in the lived experiences and insights of Black and Racialised leaders who have attended the H.O.P.E Leadership programme offering a comprehensive approach to fostering inclusive environments.
Our briefing paper and accompanying wheel highlight the critical importance of safe spaces for the growth and success of Black and Racialised leaders in various organisational settings.
With actionable recommendations for cultivating culturally responsive leadership included in our paper, this resource inspires hope and provides practical guidance for creating and sustaining truly inclusive safe spaces.
Join us in reshaping the landscape of leadership and organisational culture for a more equitable future.
In order to achieve phase 2 of the project, we are asking for donations, in return you will be able to access our paper and wheel design.
This audio features the voices of leaders from cohorts 1 and 2 who participated in our leadership programme. These leaders share their perspectives on what safe spaces mean to them in the workplace as Black and racialised individuals in leadership positions. We extend our sincere gratitude to them for their time and valuable contributions, and to everyone that provided feedback at various stages of Phase 1.
